1 out of 5 stars What a ripoff!   August 5, 2010
F. Maier (The Netherlands)
I bought the Dutch / Belgian edition of this DVD. Using the supplied cardboard glasses, the 3D-effect is crap, you see everything double and blurred, the colors drained. The cover says "playing time: 144 minutes" - imagine my surprise when the film ends at 36'! The quality of the documentary itself is not on NG's usual level in these things and cannot compete with BBC's Walking with Dinosaurs and similar series. I love Peter Gabriel, but the ultra-sweet kitschy soundtrack doesn't help matters either. I'll return this thing to the shop.

5 out of 5 stars Excelente, el mundo 3D ya esta aquì!!!   August 4, 2010

4 out of 5 stars Buy alternative 3D glasses   July 8, 2010
Goki (New Jersey)
The plastic 3D glasses are better than the ones provided. While the ones included aren't bad, they also come with 4 so the whole family can watch from the go!

Received it in a timely manner. The subject manner was done well for anyone interested in dinosaurs

5 out of 5 stars incredible and dreamlike   March 11, 2010

when i got this dvd i knew it had to be good. national geographic usually do not fail me. the documentary tells the story of a female dolphin like prehistoric creature whose fossils were found 80 million years later. watching this in 3-d with the glasses is dreamlike and incredible. an added treat is the other sea creatures and great story and narration. discovery channel has always done good documentaries on dinosaurs now national geographic gets equal billing.
